SaM Solutions is once again joining the Linux Vacation/Eastern Europe (LVEE) Winter conference as a sponsor. The company will also have a number of employees actively participating in the event as well. The conference is designed for developers and users of Linux, and other free/open source software, to share their expertise and experience. The conference is taking place just outside of Minsk, Belarus and will run from February 14th to the 16th. This conference offers enthusiasts the chance to connect, as well as a chance to simply relax, with a group of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about the potentials of free/open source software.
The goal of the conference is the exchange of experience; the focus will be on specialists sharing their experience on the development, installation, and maintenance of Open Source solutions. Other representatives from the IT industry, with an interest in open source software and the solutions it can offer, will also be present at the conference. Official languages are Belarusian, Russian and English. Features will include lectures and short presentations, with the possibility of round-table discussions, workshops, code sprints and more. There will also be discussions on new open source technology, programs, and the aspects of building a business centered on this technology. There will also be discussions on the rights and the economic aspects of free/open source licensing.
