SaM Solutions Attended Umbraco Codegarden 2022 Conference in Denmark

On June 15–17, 2022 SaM Solutions’ team took part in the Umbraco Codegarden conference in Odense, Denmark. Codegarden is an official Umbraco event held annually with the aim to share knowledge about the latest technology trends. This year, the participants could take part in the event either offline or online. It was an amazing hybrid experience for IT professionals who were eager to exchange their expertise and acquire new knowledge.

For more than ten years, Codegarden has represented an exclusive opportunity for Umbraco experts to tell the community about innovations in the industry, and the latest changes and updates. Participants engaged in a variety of activities such as interacting with fellow developers, establishing new contacts, acquiring new skills and sharing expertise. At the conference, Umbraco developers shared their vision for the development of the technology over the next few years. Among the most significant plans are Umbraco’s ambitions to:

• set up stable support around all the countries in the world.

In addition, there are plans to transform Umbraco into a full-fledged DXP system, improve the API and develop a user interface component library.

Also introduced was a new LTS master version of Umbraco 10, additional support for a new type of SQLite database and renewed approach to updates — from this point on, a minor version will be released every six weeks, and a major version every six months, which will ensure that the product stays up-to-date.
