The Client is company that trains and advises professionals in education and child care. The Client develops innovative educational products with unique passion for education, education that provides children with opportunities.

Challenge

The project aimed at implementation of the teachers’ tool as one of the three environments for the Client's web site. It is a password protected environment for teachers where they can manage students, assignments and lessons. The web site is intended for students of different ages raging from 6 to 14 to help them read more quickly and effectively, expand their vocabulary and overall knowledge of the world.

SOLUTION

SaM's team was able to develop the website, where students can get familiar with “Reading comprehension" by practicing on current news events, and filling their own magazines. The teachers’ tool provides vocabulary exercises, a variety of materials advising how to teach (learning strategies: predicting the content, clarifying ambiguities, summarizing, asking questions, paraphrasing, etc.), keys, writing assignments (articles/photostrip/opinions/games), and magazines. To create a magazine, the teacher has to select the assignments from the overview of all assignments the students created and put them in the “magazine box”. Teachers can also download tests as PDF and print them (for use in the classroom).
