October 04, 2010 – SaM Solutions Named to Software Magazine’s 28th Annual Software 500

SaM Solutions, one of the established software outsourcing companies in Eastern Europe, today announced its inclusion on Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and services providers, now in its 28th year.
October 01, 2010 – SaM Solutions have developed Calibration Expert Software

Minsk development center of the SaM Solutions company, a leading Eastern European provider of software outsourcing services, have developed Calibration Expert – a client-server software application for esz AG (www.esz-ag.de), a well-known provider of technology solutions for calibration and control devices. The SaM Solutions team started working on the project in October, 2009. To accelerate the application development process esz AG has given the project entirely to the development by SaM Solutions specialists. Overall, the project was planned for 10 months and at the time of the transfer to SaM Solutions there were problems with completion terms and quality. SaM Solutions guaranteed this software product to be developed and implemented at fixed price in three-month time, which was successfully done.
July 28, 2010 – Increasing its presence in Eastern Europe: SaM Solutions wins two new clients in the Russian market

SaM Solutions, one of the established European providers of software outsourcing services (HQ: Gilching, near Munich), increases its presence in the Russian market and currently starts cooperating with two new clients: an IT company and a consulting company. This has an accelerating effect on the market presence of SaM. The new clients are the result of the company’s increased focus on Russia’s market, which is especially supported by the recently upgraded website in Russian (www.sam-solutions.ru). The new customers care service is done through SaM Solutions’ development center in Minsk currently employing more than 500 specialists for offshore and nearshore software development.
June 29, 2010 – Preparing for the 6th International conference of FOSS developers and users

SaM Solutions will traditionally sponsor and take an active part in the 6th International conference of developers and users of Free / Open Source software (FOSS) – Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe (LVEE 2010) - www.lvee.org) Tourist camp “Chimik” located near Grodno will be home for participants from Belarus and neighboring countries for four days (01-04 July). The very first LVEE meeting in 2005, which gathered more than 80 developers, innovators and users of Linux and other free software from Belarus, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine, was also organized and sponsored by SaM Solutions Company.
June 17, 2010 – SaM Solutions partner Haufe-Lexware wins Service 2 Cloud Award 2010

At the beginning of June the MittelstandsWiki editors (www.mittelstandswiki.de) for the first time awarded SaaS and Cloud applications targeting users in small and medium enterprises at the IT Profits exhibition in Berlin. A customer friendly solution suitable especially for day-to-day use was thoroughly selected. Altogether 22 manufacturers competed for the prize award of the editorial jury. The winner was the Haufe-Lexware‘s (www.lexware.de) portal LexLive, which is the result of development cooperation between Haufe-Lexware and SaM Solutions.
